Biography:

Archangel, also known as Warren Worthington III, is a fictional character appearing in Marvel Comics, primarily associated with the X-Men. He first appeared in *X-Men* #1 in 1963.

Born with large feathered wings, Warren initially believed himself to be a mutant freak. Eventually, he embraced his powers and became a founding member of the X-Men, adopting the codename Angel.

He later underwent a transformation, becoming Archangel. This involved his wings being replaced with techno-organic wings by Apocalypse, drastically altering his appearance and personality. This transformation also granted him metal skin, but caused him significant internal conflict as he struggled to control his newfound power and darker impulses.
